JBS Blastac® range of blast containment products are deployed by a wide range of Defence sector clients — and this includes blast curtains for explosive protection, ballistic protection against gunfire etc., FireMax® fire and heat protection and arc flash protection.

Each blast containment solution can be delivered on a bespoke basis, to exact 'MIL-SPEC' standard specifications, and the JBS team can conduct survey and analysis work to offer the most precise protection for personnel and assets.

Blast Containment

JBS provide blast, frag, fire, ballistic and arc flash protection using our Blastac® range — lightweight, non-flammable, flexible and custom-made for each client.

Fabrication & Engineering

Specialist structural and pipework fabrication in a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, with dedicated project management, extensive North Sea facilities and certified offshore tradesmen.

Controlled Flow Excavation (CFE)

Designed and built in the UK, JBS’ patented Sea Axe is an advanced subsea CFE (or mass flow excavation) system that works through natural erosion of the seabed — significantly reducing environmental impact.

Tested & Certified

Independently tested and certified by Chesapeake Testing Labs, located in North Carolina, USA, Blastac® blast curtains and blast blankets are tested in accordance with U.S. Military standards, UL standards and ASTM International Test Standards.

Third-party verification, assessment and certification by ExxonMobil, through their engineering partner Aker Solutions, completed the Lloyds certification process for the entire JBS pressure test blast curtain solution.
