JBS provide the aerospace sector with blast, frag, fire, ballistic and arc flash protection to safeguard people against hazards using our Blastac® range of products. Blastac® blast curtains and blast blankets are incredibly lightweight, completely non-flammable (when combined with FireMax® fire protection) and offer more effective containment than steel.
Aerospace relies on precision engineering, and at JBS we adhere closely to this approach — each Blastac® structure includes the blast curtains/blankets with all required attachment points and fixings, ensuring that the blast containment system can be easily installed at client locations all over the world.
Tried and Tested Blast Containment
Blastac® blast curtains provide impact and blast protection from both sides of the barrier. JBS qualify all product performance data either by a physical test validation/qualification, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) (using static and dynamic modelling) or a standard type UL 752 industry test.
