Continual Improvement is enhanced with regular visits from the Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service (SMAS) and our Online Human Focus Training, which is ROSPA Approved and available to all company employees.

At JBS we encourage stakeholders to report unsafe practice without fear of judgement, ceasing activities deemed unsafe until their concerns have been addressed.

We investigate undesired events with a no-blame approach, fostering a culture of honesty and openness. We promote hazard and risk awareness, providing ongoing safety and personal development training to enhance competency and maximise safe performance.

Renewable Energy

The JBS Peterhead facility is powered by solar energy which not only addresses environmental concerns, but also supports our social and governance responsibilities. 

The most direct impact of solar power on our ESG goals is environmental. By adopting renewable energy like solar, we significantly reduce our carbon footprint, a vital step in combating climate change. Solar panels generate electricity without emitting carbon dioxide or other harmful pollutants, which is a crucial part of the JBS commitment to sustainable practices.
